Tuesday Torture

So it's Tuesday, normally my least favorite day of the week (for reasons to get into at a later date), but this week I think my Monday wins the battle for least favorite.

Let me explain...

Normally I don't need a lot of time to get ready in the morning.  I can be up and dressed and out of the house in under 20 minutes if I need to.  However, I like to toss and turn, hit the snooze button, rummage through my inbox and news feed on ALL of my social media networks before one foot even touches the ground.  Then I like to stretch and get myself ready for the day.

That didnt happen.

I forgot to set my alarm and my first thought when I jumped out of bed at 7:45 was "oh shit, it's payroll week!"  Thus ensuring that none of my usual routine was done.  I washed up, threw some clothes on, kissed Maddie on the forehead and was off like a bat outta hell.

((And guess what... My staff actually had their timings right for the first time ever, so I stressed for nothing.))

However, that was how my morning started.  My day didnt end much better with news of strokes, accidents, baby monitors, physician meetings for stupid reasons...  I did however manage to get a run in when I got home.  Sort of.  I didnt really run because of the pain in my side, but I tried.  (Of the 1.5 mile loop, I may have run the .5 of it.) So given the fact that I couldnt run, and the fact that I felt guilty for eating Chick-fil-A for lunch I ended up hula hooping for the whole episode of TGW.  I am learning and constantly trying to push myself with it, but for those neighbors who can see into my living room, I am sure that they get a good laugh at my expense.

Now for Tuesday.  I didnt wake up late, early actually.  Which is much to my surprise because I stayed up late last night trying to get into "Gone Girl".  My office has clinics both in the morning and the afternoon, which is a pain in the ass, but I can deal with that.  What I cant deal with is the potential issue at 5.  But that's a topic for a different day.

So long as my the office stays cool, the staff stays smart and my stomach pain stays away this Tuesday wont be as bad as they normally are.
